Kids Cook Off class on January 10, 2015 featuring Gibby Borelli, winner of the Rachael and Guy’s Cooking Challenge on the Food Network and runner up, Lauren Zilberman was sooo much fun! All of the kids attending made pasta from scratch and a tomato-vegetable sauce. Then the competition started. Gibby and Lauren selected 2 sous chefs and a personal shopper to compete in the “sauce” competition. Knives were flying while the clock ticked. Twenty minutes isn’t a lot of time to make a sauce from scratch! No problem, the two teams completed the challenge: one with sausage and one with ground beef. Both mighty good! The judges voted and it was a tie. No clear victor but all of the pasta disappeared!
